Early 20th C Filigree Engagement Ring with Tsavorite #VR170120-02

This elegant antique engagement ring is set with a .70 ct round brilliant cut Tsavorite. Originating from the early 20th C., this ring has a squared off top with a floating square frame in 14k white gold. The design style and motif of the metalwork dates this piece to the Arts & Crafts school of art. The center stone was added at a later date. Discovered in Tanzania in 1967 and named for the Tsavo National Park, Tsavorite is in the Garnet family. This 14k ring is currently a size 7.25 and can be resized.
