Rhaphidophora tetrasperma ‘Thai Constellation’ Rhaphidophora tetrasperma ‘Thai Constellation’ is a rare variegated mini monstera prized for its elegant split leaves and creamy constellation-like marbling. Although commonly called a “mini monstera,” this tropical climbing aroid is not a true Monstera, making it an exciting and distinctive choice for collectors seeking something unusual, compact, and highly decorative. Plant Characteristics This variegated Rhaphidophora features slender, fenestrated leaves with a refined tropical look. The foliage may show creamy white, pale yellow, or soft mint variegation across glossy green leaves, with each new leaf developing its own unique pattern. It grows as a fast-climbing aroid and performs beautifully on a moss pole, plant stake, or trellis. With proper support, mature plants can develop larger, more dramatic split leaves while maintaining a space-saving growth habit suitable for indoor collections. Care Guide Provide bright, indirect light to support strong growth and stable variegation. Avoid harsh direct sun, which may scorch the lighter areas of the leaves. Water when the top layer of the growing medium begins to dry, and never allow the roots to sit in soggy soil. This plant enjoys moderate to high humidity, ideally 60% or higher, and warm temperatures between 65–85°F. Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix with orchid bark, perlite, coco husk, and a light organic base. Why Collectors Love It Collectors love this plant for its rare variegation, compact climbing form, and highly collectible “mini monstera” appearance. Each leaf feels like a new surprise, making it a standout addition to any rare aroid collection.
