Designed to address the common issue of silicone friction that can cause blisters in 25% of the limb loss population. Alps engineers have formulated this liner using pure hypoallergenic silicone, making it ideal for a wide range of amputees, including the elderly and those with vascular conditions. SoftSil silicone is easy to clean, repels dirt, resists stains, and won’t retain odors. Its high heat dissipation helps keep your limb cooler, while its lightweight design supports natural thermoregulation. The liner’s gray fabric minimizes vertical stretch, providing optimal control and movement without compromising comfort. The locking version includes an innovative U-shaped matrix to further limit stretch without restricting the residual limb. With a seamless, durable outer fabric, the SoftSil Liner offers both longevity and a sleek appearance. Available in cushion and locking options for both below-knee (BK) and above-knee (AK) limb loss. For optimal fit, ensure your replacement liner is 3mm thick. Read our Prosthetic Liner Guide for more information on prosthetic liners.
